Atlanta--Eric Clement, creator of The Adventures of Captain save a hood series, created a superhero captain save a hood and his sidekick, Peter proper who instead of solving crime, usually end up getting beaten up by both criminals and victims of injustice. But in the process, the well-meaning heroes cause people to take a look at their lives and take steps to solve their own problems.

The hero and his sidekick Peter regularly receive anonymous calls reporting trouble in a ghetto neighborhood. In 1 episode they tried to confront and abusive deadbeat dad attempting to help the mother. After the man and woman both turn on the heroes, the couple begins to work together to solve their own problems. In another episode the heroes try to stop a young woman from engaging in sex with an immoral man who has already impregnated several women. During that event, heroes are bitten by dogs and chased out of the area. The Incident, however, games the attention of a young woman's grandmother who steps in to stop her risky behavior.

“The main element of being a superhero is in your heart, said Clement. In essence we are all superheroes. These guys are trying to stop crime but they are never successful. If I made them solve crime, people wouldn't discover they have the power to solve their own problems.

Clement, was a featured artists and exhibitor at the San Diego Comic Con from 2007 to 2010. He created the captains favorite series in 1997 after being inspired by a civic minded roommate. My roommate was always trying to help everybody and be a superhero to solve their problems. I would always joke with him that I would be his sidekick. Clement dreamed up the heroic dual and gave them a goofy car with humorous antics.

The heroes arch enemy is the villain bumpy Giles, whose name it is inspired by his severe acne. Bumpy wants to destroy the city, and his gang members are the ones who wreak havoc in the lives of people the heroes try to help.

The comic strip series, which has developed a consumer following, currently includes three books. The first is 10 pages and includes the series and the backgrounds of heroes and villain’s .The second is 28 pages and contains two episodes. the third is 17 pages and has one episode. all three books retail for $10 and are available on the website captainsaveahood43.wix.com/captain-save-a-hood.I total of 24 episodes are planned. Clement also has a 64 page graphic novel based on the characters and it sells for $25.

Clement, who resides in metro Atlanta, Georgia, is originally from Detroit Michigan.  He always like comics, and is a huge fan of Batman and Robin. Clement was also was impressed by cartoons created by the R&B funk group Parliament Funkadelic in the 1970's.climate first animated characters were three roaches in a 30 second animation he created that ran on the Nickelodeon Tv program cousin Skeeter, hosted by comedian Bill Bellamy and Shaquille O’Neal. climate later did an independent series of animated bugs reading news. he moved to Atlanta in 1989 to attend the art school at the American Intercontinental University where he started in fashion design.
